PANAMA CITY, FL — Today, Austin Rogers announced a major endorsement from one of the highest-ranking Republicans in Congress: House Majority Whip Tom Emmer.
The endorsement from Rep. Emmer builds on a wave of decisive momentum for Rogers following recent polling that shows Rogers surging into first place among the FL-02 primary field, having the most local endorsers of any candidate in the race, and a new endorsement over the weekend from Rep. Greg Steube. Rep. Emmer pointed to Rogers’ extensive experience working alongside conservative leaders in the U.S. Senate as a primary reason he is prepared to hit the ground running in the House.
In endorsing Austin Rogers, Rep. Tom Emmer stated:
