PANAMA CITY, FL — Today, Austin Rogers announced another major endorsement from House Chief Deputy Whip Rep. Guy Reschenthaler.
Congressman Reschenthaler’s endorsement adds to the surging national momentum behind Rogers in the final weeks leading up to the August 18 Republican primary. Following recent endorsements from Chairman Jim Jordan, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and Congressman Greg Steube, Reschenthaler pointed to Rogers’ strong conservative credentials, legal expertise, and dedication to President Trump’s America First principles as key reasons for his support.
In endorsing Austin Rogers, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler stated:
“I’m proud to endorse Austin Rogers for Congress because he’s exactly the kind of proven conservative we need to grow and protect our House Republican majority. As a committed fighter for President Trump’s America First Agenda, Austin will go to Washington ready to keep our border secure, rein in spending, and stand up for hardworking Florida families. I’m proud to endorse him for Congress and look forward to serving with him in the Republican conference.“
In response to the endorsement, Austin Rogers issued the following statement:
“I am grateful for Rep. Guy Reschenthaler’s endorsement. At a time when conservative leadership and principles are under attack, I’m happy to stand alongside him in the fight. Guy’s service as a veteran and experienced attorney are notable, and it is a great honor to earn his support. Thank you, Congressman Reschenthaler.“
Reschenthaler’s backing reinforces Rogers’ position as the consensus conservative candidate in Florida’s 2nd Congressional District, building on a broad coalition that includes top House Republican leadership, national conservative champions, and more than 35 local elected officials and grassroots leaders across the Panhandle.
