PANAMA CITY, FL — Today, Austin Rogers announced an endorsement from one of the leading young conservative voices in Congress: U.S. Representative Brandon Gill (TX-26).
Congressman Gill’s endorsement adds to the surging wave of national conservative leaders standing behind Rogers in the final days leading up to the August 18 Republican primary. Pointing to Rogers’ deep Christian faith, pro-life advocacy, and policy experience as a former Chief Counsel in the U.S. Senate, Gill highlighted Rogers as an essential leader to help expand the conservative majority in the House.
In endorsing Austin Rogers, Congressman Brandon Gill stated:
“Congress needs more bold conservatives who will fight to put American families first. Austin Rogers is exactly the kind of reinforcement we need. Austin Rogers is a man of faith, a fierce defender of the unborn, and an America First conservative who’s ready to take on the Washington bureaucracy. As a former General Counsel, Austin has the experience to deliver results right away. And he knows exactly who he’s fighting for. I am proud to endorse Austin Rogers for Congress and look forward to fighting alongside him.“
In response to the endorsement, Austin Rogers issued the following statement:
“Thank you, Congressman Gill, for your endorsement and support. You are an important leader among then next generation of Christian conservatives and the pro-life movement. I look forward to working alongside you in Congress to deliver results for North Florida.“
Congressman Gill is a leading pro-life conservative. His backing further solidifies Rogers’ standing as the consensus conservative choice in Florida’s 2nd Congressional District. Rogers enters the final stretch of the primary backed by top national figures—including House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and Rep. Greg Steube—alongside more than 40 local North Florida elected officials and grassroots leaders.
