PANAMA CITY, FL — Q1 FEC reports show that Austin Rogers’ campaign for Florida’s 2nd Congressional District raised more in individual contributions than all of his GOP opponents. Specifically, Rogers raised $370,840 from individual contributions. This is roughly $100,000 more than the total raised by Jim Norton ($272,216), nearly twice as much as Evan Power, who raised only $189,192 from individual contributions, and more than five times as much as Keith Gross, who raised only $71,895. All other candidates in the race raised $135,410.13 or less in individual contributions.
Rogers previously released his Q1 totals last week, announcing his campaign raised more than $722,000. These strong numbers reflect the critical momentum and grassroots enthusiasm that Austin Rogers’ campaign continues to build for his campaign for Congress.
Of note, Rogers’ campaign filed on January 29th, so these contributions were raised in roughly two months’ time.
