Austin Rogers Raises $725K for Congressional War Chest

Austin Rogers, who is one of several Republicans competing to fill in the outgoing Representative Neal Dunn’s (R-FL) 2nd Congressional district seat, has managed to collect $725,000 in campaign funding in just over two months after filing to run on January 29, 2026.

Rogers, a former general counsel to Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), personally supplied $350,000 of his own money to the campaign, with the rest coming from donors all across Florida, especially in the Panhandle.

At the same time, the pro-Rogers Panhandle Patriots has released a 1st quarter filing totaling $2 million in support of Rogers’ campaign, a sure sign he is a popular Republican candidate.

“I’m blown away by people’s generosity and support, and I vow to be a good steward of the resources my supporters have graciously entrusted to our campaign,” Rogers said in a statement.

Similarly, Rogers’ campaign manager, Jack Hitchcock, said, “Austin’s grateful for the strong support from across Florida and the Second District.” “Austin’s momentum is real and growing.”

“The numbers we released today will help with critical voter outreach into important coalitions of FL-02 voters. It will help us push Austin’s candidacy as the political outsider and best candidate in this race, most aligned with President Trump, and best equipped to advance his agenda. Austin and our team look forward to keeping this momentum going into the spring,” Hitchcock added.

Rogers faces several Republican opponents in the upcoming primary, including Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Chairman Evan Power, who has already won the endorsement of Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, and Kevin Gross, a former Democrat and Senatorial candidate.

Uthmeier called Power “a proven grassroots leader who helped build the strongest conservative movement in the country” who will “stand by President Trump to keep fighting for Florida’s values in Washington.”
